You may therefore want to consider/include some of the following points to help us move forward with your project:

• What are your products/services that you are trying to sell?
• Briefly describe the illustration that you would like me to design and how will it primarily be used? (i.e. packaging, logo, gift etc.)
• Who are your target audience for the finished product (i.e. Customers, employees, friend? – age, gender?)
• What is the scope of usage for the final artwork?
• How do you think an illustration will help people to perceive your primary company/product message?
• Do you have any key competitors and how would you differentiate your company from your competition?
• Think about the overall impression you’re trying to convey. If you would like a mascot or character, can you give any adjectives that describe them? (I.e. cute, mean, intelligent, excitable, etc). Equally, are there any qualities you want to avoid?
• Do you have any additional or specific details for me to consider? (Clothing, props, colours, backgrounds?)
• Is there any artwork, or existing character(s) you had in mind that can serve as an inspiration when designing your new character(s)?
• What is the target deadline/ preferred date of completion?
• What is your budget?
